Big Bend National Park

This photo is from the Chisos Mountains area of Big Bend National Park in Southwest Texas. I visited there in April of 2007. Big Bend is a very large park, containing desert and mountain landscapes. It's Southern border is the Rio Grande River. I was there in April and it was close to 100 degrees. By the time I made it to my hotel in the evening I was nearly sunblind!
