Richmond Bridge

This bridge in the town of Richmond, Australia on the island of Tasmania, was completed in 1825 using convict labor.

Wombat

This furry little guy is a Wombat. This picture was taken in Asbestos Range National Park in Northern Tasmania on the Bass Strait. The park has since been renamed Narawntapu National Park.

The Nut, Tasmania

This is the geological formation known as The Nut, located in Northern Tasmania. The town at the base is Stanley. I rode a chairlift to the top and found it surprisingly full of vegetation. It was also cold and outrageously windy.

This picture is from Cradle Mountain- Lake St. Clair National Park in Central Tasmania. I spent seven amazing day driving around the Apple Isle, a place few Australians and even fewer tourists visit.
