New Bedford Whaling NHP

This park preserves a number of building near the historic waterfront of New Bedford, Massachusetts that were important to the whaling industry. During it's heyday, New Bedford was one of the wealthiest cities in America.
This building is The Seaman's Bethel, a chapel mentioned in Herman Mellville's classic, Moby Dick.
